Four daughters, four sisters
and more importantly;
four best friends.
Family means everything to us, and that love and dedication flows into every bottle we craft. So, here’s our story.
Four Generations
Our story begins in Leicester, it’s 1943, and Great Grandpa Baxter has contracted TB caused by poor air quality. The Dr prescribed ‘fresh air’ which meant packing up their life and relocating to Kent. 70 acres of land was purchased, 50 of which was farmland, and our journey into farming began.
Fast forward over 80 years, and today the farm spans 200 acres, with 45 dedicated to our vineyards. Five years ago, the big boss, Clive (our Dad), made the bold decision to start growing vines after being invited to contract grow for a local winery. And so, our vineyard story began.
Four Reasons
Why does our wine taste so exceptional? We’re lucky enough to be located in one of the UK’s premier wine-growing regions – one of the reasons we were sought after for contract growing. Great wine relies on four crucial factors, and we’ve mastered them all:
South-facing slopes for optimal sun exposure.
Elevation between 40-80 metres to protect from frost.
Fertile soil, well drained but challenging - ideal for grapes
And, of course, the expertise of an exceptional winemaker who knows how to turn these elements into something truly special.
The good news? We’ve got them all covered.

The fun-loving, ditsy one of the bunch. You’ll often find her in ‘Emma Land’. Where there’s unlimited Four Daughters she will be there to bring the party!

The youngest one
The self proclaimed ‘best sister’ (classic youngest child syndrome), the baby of the family but with the loudest voice. You’ll find her necking Four Daughters during Apres!
